To begin a treatment session, position the Lumina Mini within 6-12 inches of the area that you want to treat, ensuring direct exposure. Begin with short sessions, gradually increasing the duration from 5-10 minutes to 15-20 minutes per session according to your preference. It is ideally done daily or several times a week for consistent benefits. Protect your eyes with the provided protective goggles or by closing them during the session. Monitor progress over time and consult a healthcare professional for any concerns or underlying medical conditions.

Red Light Therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy or photobiomodulation, involves exposure to low levels of Red or Near-infrared light to stimulate cellular function and promote various health benefits. In Red Light Therapy, different wavelengths of light, particularly Red and Near-infrared wavelengths, penetrate the skin at various depths, stimulating cellular processes and triggering specific biological responses. Red light, typically around 630-660nm, is absorbed by superficial layers of the skin and has been shown to promote collagen production, reduce inflammation, and improve blood circulation, making it effective for repairing skin damage and wound healing. Near-infrared light, around 810-850nm, penetrates deeper into tissues, reaching muscles, tendons, and even bones, where it can enhance cellular repair, reduce pain, and improve overall tissue function. Together, these wavelengths work to support various therapeutic effects in red light therapy, and this is how we select what wavelengths to use in the Lumina Mini for optimal results.
